| John graduated from the Flinders University Drama Centre in 1994. He worked in South Australian theatre until the year 2000 as and actor and producer, most notably as one of the Founding Members and first General Manager of Brink Productions. In this role he collaborated with The Adelaide International Arts Festival, State Theatre of South Australia, Sydney Theatre Company, Belvoir St. Theatre and the Australian Dance Theatre.
John is now a Producer at Molloy Boy Productions an independent production company that produces film, television and radio for the Australian market.
In film he has worked on the films Crackerjack, Bad Eggs and BoyTown. He also worked as a Consulting Producer on the Indian feature films Main Aurr Mrs Khanna in Australia and Love Aaj Kal in the United States. In television he has worked on The Nation, Love is a Four Letter Word and The Mick Molloy Show. In 2009 John was Series Producer of John Safran’s Race Relations for Princess Pictures and the ABC.
His love affair with India continues through his enthusiasm as the Festival Co- Director of the Indian Film Festival - Bollywood and Beyond and Mind Blowing Films. |
