Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho hit the theatres three days ago and is doing wonders at the box office. The action thriller has been in headlines since a very long time. Fans have kept their excitement uptight ever since its announcement two years ago. The viewers are very eager to watch them pair up for the very first time. In fact, Shraddha is making her South debut with Saaho and will also play the role of a cop for the first time ever.
According to Box Office India, Saaho (Hindi) has recorded excellent umbers over its first weekend with collections of Rs 79 crore nett and the film has registered the highest Sunday of the year with collections of over Rs 29 crore nett. In fact, the weekend numbers are the second best of the year after Bharat. The trend of the film over the weekend is pretty strong as well. The film dropped a little on Saturday, however, boosted up and showed solid growth again on Sunday.

Talking about Saaho, the high budgeted film has been made with nearly Rs 350 crore, which makes it the most expensive film to be produced in India. Helmed by Telugu filmmaker Sujeeth, Saaho also features Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Panday, Mahesh Manjrekar, Arun Vijay and Murali Sharma. The film has been shot in three languages, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
