Amitabh Bachchan urges fans to applaud coronavirus survivors: Together in mental fight against Covid-19
Amitabh Bachchan features in a special video in which he urges people to give mental support to those who have survived Covid-19.
After being a part of a motivational video, Guzar Jayega, with 60 other celebrities, Amitabh Bachchan now features in another video urging people to give mental support to coronavirus survivors. In a video, shared by Ajay Devgn, Big B is seen making an appeal to fans to stand together in the mental fight against Covid-19.
In the video, Amitabh Bachchan is seen saying that the novel coronavirus attacks the society in two ways. First is the physical attack, while the other one is mental. He elaborates, "Mental attack gives birth to suspicion and doubt, and this doubt is to such extent that we start fearing the person who has recovered from the disease. The person who was applauded by the doctors and sent home for giving a tough fight to the coronavirus."
The Megastar explains how people are welcoming the coronavirus survivors with flowers. He adds, "Experts from all over the world are fighting for the physical attack, but the mental one has to be fought by us. If we lose, coronavirus will win. We won't let this happen."
Sharing the post, Ajay Devgn wrote, "CoronaSurvivors are beating #COVID19 and returning home! Let's applaud their spirit, support them and their families! Let's stay positive and #BreakTheStigma together! #IndiaFightsCorona @narendramodi @amitabhbachchan (sic)."
Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan recited a poem for a special video created with the aim to spread positivity in these hard times. The video, Guzar Jayega, features some of the most prominent names from different fields like sports Bollywood and comedy, among others. Celebrities like Raveena Tandon, Sania Mirza, Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Sonu Sood and Shreya Ghoshal can be seen in the video.
Despite lockdown, Amitabh Bachchan is not compromising on work. He has been constantly shooting for his different projects at home, with all safety measures. The actor had shot for Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 promo videos along with other awareness videos from home.
