Shah Rukh Khan who will next be seen in Pathan recently had a proud moment The US Navy personnel sang Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera from the critically acclaimed social-drama film, Swades which left the actor gushing with pride.

The Shah Rukh Khan starrer social-drama film had some amazing songs composed by none other than music maestro, AR Rahman. The US Navy officials sang Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera which is one of the many hits from the film. The video had been shared by the Ambassador of India to the United States, Taranjit Singh Sandhu on his Twitter handle. Now, the Jab Tak Hai Jaan actor has reacted to the same. He shared the tweet of Mr. Taranjit Singh Sandhu in which the ambassador praised the US Navy personnel and wished everyone a happy Holi. Shah Rukh thanked the team of Swades, including director Ashutosh Gowariker, producer Ronnie sCrevwala and musician AR Rahman for making such a beautiful film at that time. Talking about Swades, the film was one of the most critically acclaimed ones of the time. It narrated the story of a young NRI working at NASA's technological forefront. He returns to his roots in India which leads him to a rural part of India. Seeing the plight of his country and countrymen, he begins a journey to better the conditions of the rural portions of his country. It talked about the generation of electricity using a hydro-power plant. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Swades also starred Gayatri Joshi, Kishori Ballal, Rajesh Vivek, Makarand Deshpande, Lekh Tandon, Daya Shankar Pandey to name a few. Swades picked the National Awards for Best Male Playback Singer and Best cinematography.
