New Delhi: The much-awaited trailer of Ajay Devgn's Runway 34 released today. Sharing the trailer, Ajay Devgn wrote, "Every second counts. @adffilms proudly presents the trailer of Runway34. We are ready for take-off. #Runway34Trailer @amitabhbachchan @rakulpreet @boman_irani @carryminati." The trailer presents Ajay Devgn as Captain Vikrant Khanna. Besides Ajay Devgn, the film also has Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh in key roles. The film is based on a true incident. It revolves around Captain Vikrant Khanna, a pilot, whose flight takes a mysterious course after take-off from an international destination. Amitabh Bachchan plays Narayan Vedant, who is willing to uncover the truth.
The description of the trailer reads, "Runway 34 tells the turbulent tale of Captain Vikrant Khanna, played by Ajay Devgn, a flying prodigy whose flight takes a stirring and mysterious trajectory after take-off from an international destination. Consequently, it follows the tenacious Narayan Vedant, played by Amitabh Bachchan, in his pursuit to uncover the truth."
The film was earlier titled Mayday. Runway 34 has been directed and produced by Ajay Devgn. It is also co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Vikrant Sharma, Sandeep Harish Kewlani, Tarlok Singh Jethi, Hasnain Husaini, and Jay Kanujia. Aakanksha Singh and Angira Dhar will also be seen in the film in key roles. Runway 34 also marks the Bollywood debut of YouTuber CarryMinati.
Runway 34 will release on April 29 and will clash with Tiger Shroff's Heropanti 2.
