Ranveer Singh to recereate Kapil Dev's legendary knock in '83

With Kabir Khan's Kapil Dev biopic going on floors in London, the film's lead star Ranveer Singh is going all out in ensuring that maximum hype surrounding the film is maintained by sharing pictures, videos and other updates from the sets of the film. Earlier today, Ranveer posted a picture on Instagram giving us a little glimpse of something special to watch out for in this film.

In the 1983 World Cup, Kapil Dev played a match winning knock of 175 against Zimbabwe. India were struggling in the game at 9 for 4 and Kapil Dev walked out on the pitch and fulfilled the duties of a captain by leading from the front. Unfortunately the game was not broadcasted by the BBC at that time. However, we now have a chance to relive the experience through 83. That's right Ranveer Singh revealed he will be recreating the legendary knock with a post on social media. Check it out below.
