Housefull 4 box office: Advance booking reports peg the Akshay Kumar film to take the biggest opening of the franchise
Producer Sajid Nadiadwala is on a roll with hits like Super 30 and Chhichhore. Now, he is all set for Diwali as Housefull 4 hits the marquee. The film has created a lot of buzz with the trailer, which is quite funny. Akshay Kumar is leading the film and the superstar has been in top form throughout 2019, with both his films, Kesari and Mission Mangal, being well-received by the audience. Plus, there's no denying the loyal fan-base of the Housefull 4 franchise.
BollywoodLife spoke to trade expert Vishek Chauhan who said, "The advance booking reports of Housefull 4 are decent across the board both in single screens and multiplexes. Going by the trends, the film should open at around the 20 crore nett mark. The franchise has very good credibility with the audience and families should turn up in good numbers during Diwali. If the word-of-mouth is good, then favorable growth over the weekend is certain, but Monday would be massive as it's the second day of Diwali - traditionally the best day for film business in the country. Sunday would be good, too, but considering it's the first day of Diwali, the audience usually doesn't turn up in that big numbers. Positive word-of-mouth should see the film easily collect between 200-250 cr in the long run and emerge a big hit."
