The much-awaited Punjabi film 'Jodi' trailer starring Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira has finally been released. Offering a mix of music, romance, and comedy set in the backdrop of the bygone era, the trailer is all things engaging.
Story:
Diljit Dosanjh is an aspiring singer who opens the stage for the main artists of the orchestra. However, he has ample talent to run a show on his own and he does the same when he meets Nimrat Khaira. Initially, their 'Jodi' doesn't get the response they were expecting, but Diljit refused to give up. Gradually they become one of the most loved jodis and soon their professional relationship gets painted by the colors of love and transforms into something special. However, with fame came trolling, mean comments, and lecherous gaze, which Diljit and Nimrat try to deal with.
At the same time, there's an element of suspense in the story, where we see some gun violence. The plot behind the same hasn't been unveiled.
Things that impressed us:
The dialogues in the movie seem impressive. They are catchy and packed with punches that will tickle your funny bone. Also, the storyline set in the bygone era has an old-world charm that paints a beautiful picture.
Not to forget, it is the first time that Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira will be seen working together. Their fresh chemistry is one of the USPs of the film and has been turning heads right from the word go.
